Hola a todos!

I'm so sorry but this week I did not take any pictures. Not that Oxford is boring, but it looks just like every other town I've been in :) Just good ol' Alabama.

This week we had Zone Conference, and Elder Christensen of the Seventy came and spoke to us. It was really cool. I left my notes in the apartment, but he reminded us about the short talk that President Monson gave this last conference about how we need to read the Book of Mormon! If he is so ill that he can only deliver a tiny discourse, it must have to be an important topic, right???
Elder and Sister Christensen are both really awesome people. We were all super excited to have them in our mission for a few days :)

We don't have very much more time!! I love all of you!! Have a good week, talk to you on Tuesday! Happy Labor Day! :)

Pictures! Some from Hermana Adams, thanks Google Maps!

Okay, so Hermana Adams did not write anything this week for her blog.  So, I (Naunie) am taking this opportunity to share some things she has not written, and some pictures.

A few weeks ago Hermana Adams talked about a Tractor Fair,
and taking a little goat around on a leash while they talked to people.
Hermana Adams' new companion is Hermana K (far right)

Temple!

Birmingham Zone at the Temple!

So we had transfers last week, and it seems like a month ago!! We are serving in a branch here in Talladega (google wants to correct that word to gallbladder. No, google no.). It's super awesome!! It is definitely the smallest church building I've been in. And our area is huge.

There are some really awesome members out here!! They have a small group but they work together to bring the spirit into the meetings. I love them all.

We had some crazy thunderstorms the last few days. I definitely appreciate having a car :) I haven't lived anywhere where the storms were as frequent or as loud as these ones!!! It's lots of fun!

I love the temple so much. There is a unique spirit from just being on the grounds. I'm so grateful for the chance I had to go today!! If you are able to go, please go just for me :) I wish I could go so much more often, but I'm grateful.

I love you all!! Talk to you soon!

Transfers!

I'm getting transferred to Oxford, Alabama. I get to kill my next companion! Which means I'll be there for more than 1 transfer. It's right next to the border of Georgia, directly east of Bham. I only got 6 weeks in Athens, but I'm super grateful for the time I've gotten here.

We are going to the temple next Thursday, and I'm so excited! (And due to new rules, P-day will be on Thursday as well, so you won't get to hear from me until then!) The first time I went, it surprised me how small it actually was. I kind of miss the big temples, but Bham is so incredible and unique.

I'm really excited for next transfer. I just feel like it's going to be a good one, ya know?? I feel differently about my mission. I will hit my halfway mark this transfer.I feel like I haven't been gone long at all. It just inspires me to work even harder for the rest of my mission :)

We went to this tractor fair on Saturday and a member let us take their goat around (on a leash) and we had people coming to US. It was flippin awesome. We were sitting down and we started talking to this couple while they were eating, and when they were finished the guy slapped down a $20 and said he wanted to buy our dinner. I just love the people here!! I love when God sends other people to bless us.

I love all of you!! Have a good week!
