Cry a lot, Pray a lot more
That´s a quote from Elder O. He´s a hoot. Anyway, it was really cool because we were having a district discussion and almost everyone was crying. So then we laughed and he said that. This mission has been the hardest thing I´ve ever done, but I have also felt the spirit more than ever. It is so amazing..............................
So Christmas!! It was great. We had a little party and ate a bunch of junk food. The Hermanas got home and watched some mormon messages on Hermana Cosseys tablet. It was really great
............................................ This is mi casa.
Hermana V got us presents!! We all got Kinder Sopresa! It was so cool. Kinder is now my favorite candy. Kinder Buenos to be more specific. It´s like nutella and kit kats mixed together. If you get the chance to try some, do it, it will change your life...............................
We had an AWESOME discussion in the book of mormon. You know Lehi´s dream? No? GO READ IT. I want to focus specifically on 1 Nephi 8:33-34 and 37. I don´t have my scriptures with me right now, so I can´t quote it, but basically it says that people were mocking the saints and Nephi and his family heeded them not, but those that heeded the words of the wicked fell away and were lost. This makes me so sad! In Romans 1:16 it says For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. And you know what????? I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST!!!!! I know that this is the right thing for me to do here. I know that there is someone in Alabama that needs to hear this good news from ME and they need to hear it IN SPANISH. That freaks me out a little, but it also gives me motivation to work as hard as I can. I know that God keeps his promises, and he NEVER takes them back. The only way that they don´t come to pass is if we don´t hold up our end....................
I love this mission so much, and I´m only on week 5!! I love my compañeras and everyone here. The church is true!!..........................
I love you all!

Esta Papa
Hermano P taught us a spanish phrase this week. Esta Papa, it means "it is potato" which is like saying "It is so easy". Hermana V said it was super casual though and if we said it to an investigator we might offend them. But esta papa.
This week we were practice teaching and the topic was revelation through church attendance. It was my turn to be the missionary and I said to my investigator (really just an elder in my district) that our church was different from the catholic church because of many things. ...
"Nosotros Iglesia es treinta horas."
"¿Treinta?"
"¡Si!"
"¿TREINTA????"
"Oh no!!! Tres!! Tres!"
We had quite a laugh. So if that doesn´t tell you, spanish is going along great. I keep forgetting spanish and at the same time my english is going out too. So that´s fun. We had a really great Sunday this last week. We had a class from Hermana C and she said so many awesome things. The whole day felt like the holy ghost was telling me that God keeps his promises.
These Poinsettias are everywhere.
Hermana M and Hermana C and I just got called as sister training leaders in our zone. It has really been a wild ride here! I´m sorry my emails are so short, there isn´t a lot of time to email and once I get into the computer lab my mind just goes everywhere. Thank you all for you´re support! I wouldn´t complain if yáll sent me more pictures!!!;)
I LOVE YOU ALL

I love to see the temple!
We went to the Mexico City temple today. It was GORGEOUS. The whole session was in Spanish and I thought, psshhh, I don´t need a translator! Boy was I wrong. It was okay, because of how many times we went before I came here I knew mostly what was going on. The hermanas there are SO kind. And very short.
Our Tuesday devotional was pretty sweet. No one special. Only JEFFERY R HOLLAND!!! He was actually in Provo but we got it live streamed to the CCM so it was still cool. He blew us all a kiss at the beginning of his talk. There were so many things I wrote I couldn´t possible do it all right here. One that I loved was We are disciples of the Lord- it cost Him everything, so its okay if it costs us something.
We start TRC next week. In case you were wondering, that stands for TEACHING RECENT CONVERTS. I´m not nervous, you´re nervous. The spanish is coming along poco a poco. It´s hard not to get frustrated with myself. I was feeling pretty homesick and I asked our DL for a blessing. He told me in the blessing that I am where I need to be right now. He also said that because I was here my family would be taken care of. That made me cry a lot, because since I´ve been here, any time someone mentions our families I start FRIGGIN BAWLING. Hey guys. I love you all. This spirit is so wonderful here. It literally feels like my heart is a bucket of love and it is OVERFLOWING. I am so grateful for the priesthood and that I am surrounded by so many young men that can use it. I love my savior and my district and all of YOU.

Come Unto Christ and Repent of your .... Fish
First and foremost, I want to apologize for all the spelling and punctuation errors. This is a spanish keyboard and literally all of the words are underlined in red.
The title is because of an interesting experience we has this week. We started teaching our first investigator, C, last Thursday and it was awesome. My companions are Hermana C and Hermana M. They are going to Arizona Scotsdale mission and Washington D.C North mission. It was a really good lesson. Anyway, the Elder after us, Elder C and Elder H, told her to come unto Christ and repent of her sins. Well, that's what they thought anyway. She gave them a weird look, and Elder C( who is the DL) realized their mistake. Sins = pecado, and fish = pescado. It's an easy mistake, but they're never going to hear the end of it.
I love it here in Mexico. It is so gorgeous here. There are so many parrots!! The trees are so exotic and the people are so kind. There are a couple houses outside the walls of the CCM that have Christmas lights, and one that we lovingly call 'El Casa de la Fiesta'. There are also random explosions during the day, and we've been told they will be more frequent during Christmas and New Years.
I love my district too, we are 11B ( pronouced "once-beh"). 7 Elders are going to the same mission, Tuxtla Gutierrez(spelling, I know, yikes) and the Hermanas are the only ones going back to the states. Elder C hopes to get a tapeworm to lose weight. He's crazy. They're all so funny and such good people. We play volleyball together, it's a lot of fun.
My teachers are Hermano P y Hermana V. They are so patient with us. We have fun, but we also learn a lot :) My spanish is so bad, but they always encourage us so much.
Our branch president is awesome. He taught us that we are like Nephi, who was commanded to build a ship. Here at the CCM, we are making the tools in order to build that ship. He also taught us how important it is to not have your phone out during church. What would investigators think of us??? They would say, this is not a church, that man is on facebook!
This spirit is so amazing here. I really love it. But I miss American food...... all of the juice is carbonated, that way you know it's clean. I think I ate cow tongue a couple of days ago. Horchata is really good. The flavors are really interesting.
The church is true! God is in charge! The savior loves you!!
