Come Unto Christ and Repent of your .... Fish

First and foremost, I want to apologize for all the spelling and punctuation errors. This is a spanish keyboard and literally all of the words are underlined in red.
The title is because of an interesting experience we has this week. We started teaching our first investigator, C, last Thursday and it was awesome. My companions are Hermana C and Hermana M. They are going to Arizona Scotsdale mission and Washington D.C North mission. It was a really good lesson. Anyway, the Elder after us, Elder C and Elder H, told her to come unto Christ and repent of her sins. Well, that's what they thought anyway. She gave them a weird look, and Elder C( who is the DL) realized their mistake. Sins = pecado, and fish = pescado. It's an easy mistake, but they're never going to hear the end of it.
I love it here in Mexico. It is so gorgeous here. There are so many parrots!! The trees are so exotic and the people are so kind. There are a couple houses outside the walls of the CCM that have Christmas lights, and one that we lovingly call 'El Casa de la Fiesta'. There are also random explosions during the day, and we've been told they will be more frequent during Christmas and New Years.
I love my district too, we are 11B ( pronouced "once-beh"). 7 Elders are going to the same mission, Tuxtla Gutierrez(spelling, I know, yikes) and the Hermanas are the only ones going back to the states. Elder C hopes to get a tapeworm to lose weight. He's crazy. They're all so funny and such good people. We play volleyball together, it's a lot of fun. My teachers are Hermano P y Hermana V. They are so patient with us. We have fun, but we also learn a lot :) My spanish is so bad, but they always encourage us so much. Our branch president is awesome. He taught us that we are like Nephi, who was commanded to build a ship. Here at the CCM, we are making the tools in order to build that ship. He also taught us how important it is to not have your phone out during church. What would investigators think of us??? They would say, this is not a church, that man is on facebook! This spirit is so amazing here. I really love it. But I miss American food...... all of the juice is carbonated, that way you know it's clean. I think I ate cow tongue a couple of days ago. Horchata is really good. The flavors are really interesting. The church is true! God is in charge! The savior loves you!! Hermana Adams
